Criminal Minds. In Spanish.

I felt the need to watch Amplification today and went on YouTube to see if I could find it. Well, I did. Sorta. I came across the Spanish dub for it.

Can we discuss how absolutely awkward this is?
Maybe its just because I'm used to it in English and can't imagine any of the actors fluently speaking Spanish in voices that aren't their own. But yeah. Plus, I feel like they could've picked way better voice actors than this. All of them sound way older than they really are except Reid; he sounds like the cross between a kid and someone talking with their nose plugged.

Otherwise, I would say this is pretty neato. *kanyeshrug*

hahahahha!!!!!!
-dies laughing!!!!-

it's so weird, i mean, i speak spanish but the accent from spain is so funny!!!!
i don't know, i'm not a big fan of dub series.
i like to watch them with their original lenguage.
i remember once someone uploaded a japanese version of supernatural, and it was so funny xDDDDD

and reid's voice is just... weird.

Dubbed versions of anything are usually pretty hilarious. Best one I ever saw was South Park dubbed into Irish.

OMG!! sounds pretty weird!
I'm from Mexico and I find Spain's accent very strange, but still Reid's voice sounds like somene much younger. Those actors are not so good for their characters. Original voices are way better.... Also, their voices in latin version sound strange too. >_

For some strange reason, when Morgan, Reid, and Garcia are talking, it made me think of the three hyenas in Lion King... That's all I could think about the entire time. I kept imagining them breaking out into a rousing chorous of 'Be Prepared'...

LMAO at all your comments. That's Spanish TV for you. I can't even tell if the voices of the actors are this or that, they just sound like dubbing voices from any other tv show. Yeah, they all sounds pretty much like that. Makes ya cringe, huh?
Fortunately, more and more networks are offering the possibility to watch the shows in their original version but it's a long way until dubbed versions stop being the popular choice; ppl still prefer not to "read the subtitles". *sighs*

Everyone's voices are fine, but Reid... not him at all.

Agreed. I often set the DVD language to Italian, for kicks. Italian!Hotch is much more passionate. Studmuffin.

I always get the same impression the first time I watch a TV show in English, if I first discovered it through TV (in French) x)
I'm used to a voice and then, the original actor's voice is totally different ^^

And there it seems even weirder since I don't speak spanish at all xD

OMG! That is just...horrendous!

Well, I'm from Spain and I'm used to watch it in Spanish (even though I prefer watching everthing in the original language) and I think the voices they've picked aren't that bad. In other tv shows, the Spanish voices destroy the series, such as Heroes, Dexter or even Lost.

How do you think it would sound in Chinese...?? if there's a Chinese version, of course.

[identity profile] babyara.livejournal.com 2010-03-31 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't the courage to listen this.
I'm italian and I've got to watch the show in my language because my father doesn't know english... believe me... I would want to cry everytime that they open their mouth to speak XD (indeed before to go to bed I watch the same episode in english because I need to listen the original voices XD)

That's the Spanish from Spain version, haven't seen it yet, but I bet that the Latin version is better, it always is.
I don't know why, but ALL the tv show dubbed to Spanish from Spain have the same voice actors,it's so weird,if you're just listening, you get confused of what show you're watching...

I'm happy that the German dub is quite nice, even though NOTHING is better than the original <3

I THINK ITS AWESOME!
