I'm a little confused here. IK the spinoff and CM are separate shows, but they're on the same network, and if money is being cut from the CM budget, then... it's got to be going somewhere. And if it isn't going to other (more priority) stars/shows, then where's it going?

And regardless of whether the spinoff is directly responsible for draining the budget from CM, it's still draining other resources (writers, attention from creators, etc.) and so this news does little to endear it to me.
