Have you ever wondered what would Criminal Minds team look like in a Star Trek ‘verse?

I have. :) And here’s my concept.

And, well, there’s actually a story to accompany those pictures. It’s best to read it from the beginning (as in from the Captain), but those first five chapters are really just an introduction, so click wherever strikes your fancy.

Oh, Garcia will be a little tough to make (since every woman on ST is slim) but she's going to be there, no worries. She is in the story. :)

I thought you read the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik (http://www.naominovik.com/index.cgi?pagetype=writing). It's not exceptionally popular, though it does well for itself, and hence the squee upon (as I thought) a Temeraire fan in CM fandom. The Temeraire books have a lot of the same themes as Criminal Minds (particularly the inability of the law to construct perfect social justice, and the matter of conscience and loyalty), and the main human character, Will Laurence, is much like Hotch. Only Hotch is more centered and stable.

No, I didn't read the novels. *sadface* I first came across "Temeraire", while searching for a name of XVIIIth century British ship for another novel. Then there were all those dragons coming up when I typed Temeraire into google. Made me quite confused for a while, lol.

Anyway, it's actually cool if the Captains (I assume Laurence is a Captain?) are similar. :)
