I think its punishment for Reid. He left the team and didn't wear his vest, he doesn't get to play.

Yeah, if it wasn't Adrienne in the unsub role, I hate this episode a lot more.

IDK if that's it though... they kept doing that to him even before the last ep. We know this show fails at continuity, so...
