I think an awesome way to do it would be Reid go missing for, like, half the last season. The team, in between worrying over him, is dealing with one long chain of serial killings that are almost - almost - perfectly done.



Then, the finale, have the team approach a room, and when they open it, Reid is there with a gun or a bomb or something and just smirks and asks "did you miss me?"


And then a Bolivian Army Ending. Just....cut to black, there. Would love and hate it at the exact same time.
