I don't see why it's OOC. She's changed and evolved since season 2.

Morgan probably feels personally responsible because Pretiss "died" in his arms. It doesn't have to be a romantic thing. And I doubt it will be. So far everyone (cast & writers) have said they're not interested in making any romantic connections between team members.
