I totally watch CM for the cast, I checked this out because someone told me Dr.Reid was pretty, I didn't expect to like it so much, got hooked because of Jason Gideon, and watched the other episodes because there aren't other series where you get so much awesome female characters, or where the cast does feel like a family. ...but so far, the S1-S301 episodes were the only ones I rewatch several times (unless it was on tv), there just seem to be so much more tucked in, so much hinted at. Like the writers really have a lot of backstory that never made it in, Boston, that Gideon-Haley-Hotch knew each other for so long that Haley wanted to name their baby Gideon. Elle being really touchy about her job - I read in a blurb somewhere, in the character summaries, that Elle was sexually assaulted when she was 19, and they never caught the guy.
Sometimes I just skip the scenes where the BAU aren't here, like recently, all the scenes in which the unsubs are playing out their graphic fantasies. CHANGE CHANNEL. Oh look, it's going to rain tomorrow.
Man, if they ever end this series for whatever reasons, I would love it if they do a comedy series and bring back the actors. I'll be so there.
