I'd not see that as foreshadowing. Elle was always portrayed as rather abrasive, plus I think it's natural for women to be upset over rape - no matter if they've been a victim themselves or not. And I don't think we ever got enough evidence to definitely say whether Elle was a victim herself or not. It's like the Haley Hotchner affair hinted at in 3x02. We can assume, but we cannot know for sure.

Seeing what you wrote farther down, I don't think we'll agree on Elle. Plainly speaking, I think she was wrong and no matter how I look at this issue, I don't find anything to redeem her.
