(btw, some fans are squeeing over them being partnered much - there is nothing wrong with that of course - but i just don't see the romantic tension between JJ/Morgan as it's implied by those fans. I wouldn't mind hear some thoughts on this :) ).

I'm a great fan of the canon's familial dynamic, but the various factions of inter-team shippers are out there, and I'm sure the writers are aware of them; the beauty of the interrogation scene was that it managed to be a (possibly deliberate) Ship Tease (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShipTease) that actually served a crucial plot function. (and I was laughing my ass off watching the General turn shades of purple that do not occur in nature.)
