...Criminal Minds is going to follow the footsteps of Without A Trace. Meaning that the finale will end with a cliffhanger. Argh.

"The agents will find themselves at the mercy of a serial killer who leaves behind a series of coded clues and riddles — all of which lead them to a hostage. By the end of the episode, the team (and you guys) will have every clue they need to solve the case, and they'll have four months — until the second-season premiere in September — to do so."

The idea is rather cool though, but I will go nuts. I know it already. *sulks*

Oh damnit. They're doing this on purpose to drive us all mad. What am I saying? Of course they're doing it on purpose. It's still mean. Wait a minute, WaT is going to end with a cliffhanger this season? Like that's new.

But you're right, the idea is cool. I'm wondering how many fanfic writers will have it solved before the new season starts.

I'd say that it's rather likely. The previous two have, so... And the spoilers about the show's finale episode definitely point to that direction.

I don't know any of the spoilers (I have the last couple of episodes on my HD, but I haven't seen them yet), and I've only started watching WaT last season, so I've been doing a little catching up on earlier episodes. I don't think I've seen either the second season finale nor the third. But then again, most shows either go out with a bang, or end the season with a cliffhanger.

And yes, this was entirely OT for a Criminal Minds community.
