The Best Reid moments

I thought since someone made a post about what are the best Hotch moments, I thought I would make one about the best Reid moments.
My favorite moment would probably be in Revelations where he manages to give the team a clue about where he is being held by Tobias. He is so drugged at that point, but he still managed to come up with a clever plan :).

Oh yes, I would definitely relish the character development, but just the thought also makes me very sad.

Lol our conversation.

After thinking about what we discussed, I'd be terrible sad if Reid's mom died. That's entirely too much angst for me. :(

Conversation FTW!

Yeah, I play it out in my head how he'd get the news, and the look on his face is so painfully blank it makes me wanna cry.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how I slice it. It would probably be the most I'd cry since Hayley's death. And on top of being sad that Reid's sad, I'd be sad because I like Jane Lynch and it would make me a bit teary knowing she wouldn't get to reprise her role again unless she came back as a ghost or flashback. :(

I find it strangely amusing that you chose a Fruits Basket icon for talking about the death of mothers. How...inadvertently poignant.

I'd probably be more upset over that because I like Spencer's mom so much more than I ever did Hayley.

Lol I meant to pic this icon. But yeah. It somehow works? It'd probably be better if I had a dramatic FB icon rather than it being happy.

I got angry at Hayley because she was being a real b-word up until this episode. But the thing with Jack and the fact that Hotch was all upset and the fact that she showed she cared at the end really got to me.

Yeah, I mean it's really, really tragic because Hotch and Hayley obviously loved each other (I watched the episode where they first talk about Pirates of Penzance after 100 and I was, like D8), but like the woman said in "Pleasure is My Business", how could she have let a guy like Hotch go like that?

[identity profile] cloudzrshibby.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
I knowwww. I mean, I know he's a workaholic, but he's a good guy. He does it to catch the bad guys. It kinda sucks that it took her till the final moments of her life to realize that's why he does his job. :/

[identity profile] midgetnazgul.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Hotch even told her straight up that the BAU was who he is, and she still didn't understand.

I'd like to know how he went from cushy prosecutor to "Imma chase unsubs down with mah gun". I rewatched "Profiler, Profiled" yesterday and I noted Gideon's conversation with Hotch about keeping secrets - "You wouldn't want Morgan to see your profile, would you?" - so I was very "ORLY GIDEON"

....sorry if I don't make sense. I am tired. -_-

Lol I'm tired too so it makes perfect sense.

Yeah, I noticed that. But I also noticed that once his marital problems started, that's when he went from playing it cool to jumping the gun (LOL PUN).

[identity profile] midgetnazgul.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed, but he was very angsty and angry, but he eventually got it under control. He only had a couple Reid-esque episodes where he wandered in front of an unsub's gun before he straightened himself out.

We only need one accidental suicide wannabe on the team. -_-

[identity profile] cloudzrshibby.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
Lol its ok if they both do. The more dramaz the better. Only, when Reid does it, Hotch scolds him.

Rofl, it's such a double standard.

"It's ok if I go in alone to talk down unsubs with guns without back up and block sniper shots, but you can't. It's just one of those things moms can do."

As a sidenote, we totally need to see Rossi go Papa Bear on someone.

It really is. Hotch is super overly protective of his "kids" lol.

And omg yes I wanna see that too. :o
