I hear you on the unfinished stories thing. The rare times I write fanfiction now, it's always one-shots because I don't have time for series work anymore and I'd hate to start posting something and then get swamped and just leave it out there dangling (did it once years ago, and I still feel guilty. LOL).
I do love that a lot of fanfic communities have something in the title/description area now for whether a story's finished or not-- makes sure there are fewer "but it can't end there!!!" moments in my life. :-)

And yay, Morgan/Garcia! I love those two together. It makes me so happy to have a show where the writers seem more concerned with "so how do these characters click?" than with "okay everyone, let's pair up the conventionally pretty people, chop chop!" Their banter is fantastic.
