Yeah, I agree it would be cool to see her back. I think it would be interesting to see Elle/Hotch interaction at this stage. There have been some seriously big changes since they were last close. (One of my very favorite scenes in the whole series is Hotch washing the blood off Elle's wall in TFK2 so she doesn't have to come home to that.)
