So I've been seeing this for about two months...

At a gas station by my house. xD

And in other CM news, I was talking to my classmate about "Revelations" and he was like, "Yeah, the part where Spencer gets spanked really freaked me out!" (he was referring to Reid getting hit on the bottom of the foot) and before I could say anything, his friend goes, "I GOTTA START WATCHING CRIMINAL MINDS! CHICKS ARE GETTING SPANKED!"

That's awesome. I love how you're classmate's friend automatically thinks Spencer is a girl's name LMAO

And Martini and Rossi is the BEST Asti ever. I can drink like 10 bottles of it. I'd probably die of alcohol poisoning, but I'd die happy!

did you know Spencer is now considered a unisex name? i was thinking of doing a Reid as a girl fic, but changed my mind. also, he kind of runs like a girl according to Shemar. but yes, how typical for guys to assume that anyone getting tortured on TV is a woman.

If that guy only knew how many tough spots Reid got into...

true, true. Reid's brain is pretty much more useful than his gun. look how many people he's talked down without resorting to firing his weapon. Amanda, the injustice collector, the doll girl, the stalker girl from the Lila ep. i'm sure there are more than that. intellect is powerful and sexy!

if Reid could just find a way to bust down doors with his brain, he'd be more powerful than Morgan!

You might be interested in this essay by Elizabeth Bear about Criminal Minds's subversion of stereotypical gender roles; although it was written in 2007, Bear's points have, if anything, been furthered by subsequent developments, such as Will's becoming a stay-at-home dad and what many viewers think Foley did to Hotch: http://matociquala.livejournal.com/1069382.html

You left out the hulking serial killer Reid stopped cold in his tracks with a barrage of psychobabble in "Damaged."
