Jack's condition?

In Psychodrama at the beginning before the team leaves for LA Haley stops by to see Hotch and mentions that Jack had been at the hospital having tests. And we learn he has a condition that is treatable. Is it ever mentioned again and do we ever find out what the condition is/was? I haven't seen Psychodrama in a while and can't remember if it is mentioned at the end.

I don't believe it is ever mentioned again, which really isn't all that surprising.

I think anything related to Hotch's family and/or background is a bigger mindfuq than an episode of Lost

And that's saying something...

That whole thing bugged me. "He has a condition. It's treatable." It seemed like lazy writer crap to give Hotch a guilt trip, but they didn't bother to actually do any research as to what "condition" the kid could possibly have. I roll my eyes every time I see that.

Yep, loving parents just don't talk like that. A mother would say, "He has green-poop baby syndrome. It's treatable with meds but no more broccoli smoothies."

I know women who pull that kind of shit with their husbands. It's a combination of prioritizing punishing their husbands over communicating to their fellow parent, punishing their husbands by letting them wonder, and this spiteful "if you really cared enough to know, you would have been there." It's bullshit. So I held this scene against Haley for a long time.

That's sad but your icon is rather wonderful.
