Joe Mantegna Facebook Update

Sorry to insight rage just when things were quieting down, but Joe Mantegna updated his Facebook with a message that elicited quite the response! It's nothing new, but still, the legitimacy makes it really hit home. Rage.

I really hope I'm strong enough to quit watching once Prentiss leaves. I will regard the new season as a completely different show and I don't want to take part in any of it.

It already sounds like AJ has moved on, I think it's okay for us to do so as well. I've left and re-joined this comm several times this summer because of all this and I'd like to stay to get updates on my fave show, but not if every other entry or a comment thread gets derailed into CBSISSEXISTOMGWTFILOVETHEMALLWHYWHWYWHYRAGEDEADUNLIKE.

We get it. You can stop complaining about it in every comment thread now. Some people are still angry. Just let them be- it's easier to skip comments you don't like than for everyone to stop talking about it completely.

yeah, isn't it crazy how people get so upset about silly little things like sexism? you'd think they'd just accept the status quo and get over it already. let's just be good girls, be quiet, and drool over the male eye candy, right?

AJ Cook is gone. It's sad, but we have to move on.

The chapter is closed and I we watch or not, is up to each of us individually.

I will stop reading posts like that. It doesn't make it better, it makes it worse.

I agree...I plan to watch even after they're gone because I still love the other characters and the show. To each his own, but unless the show completely goes down the tubes writing-wise or acting-wise, I'm still aboard. I will miss Prentiss a lot, though.
