I think Hotch is the best agent because he's always by the book, good with guns and good in politics.
And although, Gideon is not of my favorites I have to accept that he's the best profiler, so much that he's creepy sometimes.

Yeah, I might not like Gideon all that much, but he was the best profiler of the group, closely followed by Hotch.

To my Gideon, Hotch and Rossi are the best profilers, but of course everyone else is damn good too.

Ditto on Gideon, when it came to profiling the guy was just The Man.

I went with JJ as best agent, Hotch was a close second, but he just lacks something for me when it comes to people management and his inability to walk what he talks at times. JJ was always just so damn good at her job.

On the other hand I've always seen Prentiss as the best all-rounder (team player/victim advocate/bait/badass as required etc). It's a broad question, ultimately "they are all awesome? Y/Y?" works best for me. :D

I have to agree here. I mean, if they weren't the best on their jobs they wouldn't be either in the BAU or the team. Only a small poll to see the opinion of the fans : )

I think that part of the appeal of the team is that they've all got such varied levels of experience and areas of expertise. So, that said...I don't know if it's fair to say who's the better agent/profiler, because the whole point is that they work as a team. Like...Morgan probably wouldn't be as great with geographical/linguistic profiling, but Reid probably wouldn't be as great with obsessional crimes or bomb-squad stuff.

Totally understand what you say, and I agree. As I had said before, they wouldn't be there if they weren't the best, I just wanted to see, according to the personal opinion and perception of the each one on what we have seen through the seasons who they thought was best.

All the profilers are excellent, and all have different areas of expertise in profiling, so it's harder to choose which one's the best.
