Rachel Confirms s7 Casting Spoilers

I'd like to take this opportunity to say that whether or not you loved/hated Ashley Seaver, Rachel Nichols as an actress is a human being who did not deserve to be sidelined liked this. She obviously loved her job and her co-workers, and is justifiably upset about this. 

CBS pulled the same stunt with Rachel that they did with AJ and Paget last year. Please keep that in mind. CBS might have fixed one of the symptoms by bringing AJ and Paget back, but they have in no way solved the problem of treating their actresses as disposable.

I'm honestly not trying to start anything, but I'm a little worried about Paget coming back. I love Paget as an actress and I love the character of Emily Prentiss, but I feel like the bonds of trust within the team will be broken when everyone finds out not only that Emily is alive, but that Hotch and JJ knew about it and didn't tell them. I'm just not sure I can see a beleivable story line where they can trust Emily again.

I'm sad about everything with Rachel Nichols, but I'm more concerned with all the upcoming Prentiss shenanigans.

Is Paget for sure coming back now?

I'm not really impressed with the way CBS is handling all this! If they are going to remove Rachel from the team, they could at least let her have an episode or two in the next season to give a proper good bye, ya know. I don't wanna come back to the next season and they are just like "oh ya, she's gone". I mean she was a main cast memeber this past season

i am actually sad about this. i really wanted to see more of her background (her father was a serial killer. and these people catch serial killers). what a waste of fu*ked up storyline.

This whole situation has been a disgusting debacle. I feel bad for all the women involved.

S6 has been a total mess. I stopped watching after the voodoo episode, it was just terrible. I'll be giving S7 a chance though, hopefully we'll have new writers.

And I'm not surprised the spin-off bombed, the introductory cross-over episode was rubbish. None of the characters were interesting. I said before that if they wanted to do a spin-off they should have had Prentiss lead the the new team. They really dropped the ball in so many ways.

Extremely happy with Paget's return, but I'm seriously wondering how they will write off Nichols? Just a "she went back to school" and we never hear of her again?

Allthough I didn't felt her character added anything to the show, I find this harsh, and bad for the show too.

OK I am just going to ignore any thoughts regarding the RL drama. BUT. I am so excited for the show. I never liked Seaver so I am happy her character will not be back. And Emily being back? Awesome! I hope they'll bring back Doyle too. *excited*

Rachel's just confirmed she found out over the internet on Twitter: "certainly NOT my choice. Such a heartbreaker. AND I learned the awful truth via the Internet while on vacation!".

Poor thing, she definitely doesn't deserve this treatment. CBS need to sort themselves out.
