Unsubs / It's That Guy! - Jim Parson needs to play an unsub
I know we have some crossover fans since both Big Bang Theory and Criminal Minds are nerrrrrrrrd shows, so gosh darn it, tell me I ain't the only one who thinks Jim Parsons need to get in here and play the unsub of the week?
ETA: Click on the cut and highlight to read spoilery quotes, it's from last week's BBT episode:
"As a symbolic gesture to all the bullies who tormented us for years, we should open our home to Jimmy. And once he’s asleep, we kill him." *!!!!* "I said it would be nice. I didn’t say we should do it."
- Sheldon Cooper, 511 "The Speckerman Recurrence", Big Bang Theory (also a CBS show, be easy eh?)
...who's on your wishlist? So far, on CM confessions tumblr, I've seen request for Pretty Little Liar(wut that?), Hugh Laurie (House), and Kristen Stewart (Sparkles Vamp).
Already Done by CM: Cmdr Riker putting the rapist in therapist, dweeby Wesley Crusher got poetically trucked down (Sheldor rejoices!), heartthrob from Dawson ties Dr.Reid to a chair and puts things inside him
I think we still need:
- Jim Parson, as stated above, as frequently joked in BBT "He's one lab accident away from being a super villain", frankly, I think he'll work as a "House Cleaner" sort of character. The BAU is called in to investigate the serial murders on the set of "Jersey Shore"...
- Kathy Griffin (The D List, Suddenly Susan, Anderson's Platonic Other Half), the Jokerish killer that will make your murder into a comedy
- Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) can play sweet nerdy girl who coolly stages the death of her rivals as the work of a serial sex killer. Spencer can be her bodyguard before they figure out she's the true killer, they bond over their bullied childhood with powerless parents and then she breaks his heart by trying to cut it out.
- Ricky Martin, because it's always funny to see old pop stars on the show.

Sorry I forgot!
I was a BBT fan first, and the first I've seen of Spencer Reid's name is somebody shipping him with Sheldon! ????? (um, asexual?)
I would love to read the crossover where the BAU goes over and uncover Sheldon as having been secretly a serial killer for years, lol. There is actually a prompt at the recent BBT meme that wonders if Sheldon's obsessive cleanness was an "out damn spot" sort of thing, and it's been filled:
Sheldon kills a mugger and covers it up

Jim Parson would be the scariest unsub out there
Cause like, he's that guy you make fun of for being such a nerd, the OTHER nerds make fun of him, he's annoyingly fussy, but he's harmless right? He's so sexually non-threatening, and he does look like he'll fit into a locker, though you might have to bend his head down first.
...and Parson's character in BBT just gets this Muffled Rage look on his face that is just absolutely wonderful, and in the context of CM, absolutely creepy.

Summary
NATHAN. So you said a lot of them kill prostitutes?
REID. That’s the number one serial killer target, actually.
NATHAN. So is that for sex or because they think they’re dirty and need to be punished?
.....usually, the team as Unsubs have them as vigilante killers, or in the case of Spencer, he'll be the /mercy/ killer. This is the first one I read (outside of the kink meme), where our baby bird Spencer was written as a rapist - and I thought it totally made sense, in story - it added something about the football field incident.

I want Frank to come back
Kirsten Dunst would make for a good unsub
I just want more FEMALE unsubs. Its probably not realistic but I want :(
re: Kirsten Dunst
We need more female unsubs, I don't care if it's uncommon (although, THINK ABOUT IT: maybe there are less female serial killers that we know of because they are more careful / the officials don't suspect them - Karla Homolka got off lightly even though I think she was actually the dominant killing partner...).
I know she can play scared from Spiderman, and I know she can play scary from Interview With A Vampire: she was just a kid then but her character frequently spooked me out.
I'll like it if we can go back to more realistic unsubs, or at least unsubs whose backgrounds aren't so bizarre, I've always seen many episodes in the early seasons as well done social commentary, like how in Natural Born Killer, the violent environment made a killer who have no sympathy for other people's pain and was scarily immune to physical pain (so they couldn't torture him for information as to where he kept the kidnapped FBI agent). Plus in "Perfect Storm", because "she was never the same" due to what her entire family did to her, she wanted to spread the pain.
These episodes are as 'unique' as the tornado frankenstein, but I found them much more compelling.
...and irl female unsub: Karla's father had an unhealthy interest in her mother's friend, he was sexually harassing that friend. Karla's mother responded by approaching that friend, and telling her that it was in the power of that friend to save the Homolka marriage by having a threesome with her husband. When Karla was in highschool, she was a member of a 'Diamond' club that made promises to each other that they would find and marry, no matter what, men who were handsome and successful, and that's what Paul Bernado was, he was handsome and he was successful in business, and his other shortcomings, Karla tolerated. Karla had inherited from her mother a tolerance for sexual creepers, and the method of controlling them by actively setting herself up as 'the helper'.
I think Kirsten Dunst could pull off playing someone like that, a WASPy character who inherited unhealthy traditions from the generation before, that many might find socially acceptable, and then turned it definitively gruesome.
Re: Kirsten Dunst
In short, a Muggle equivalent of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Re: Kirsten Dunst
What I like about Criminal Minds is how often the unsubs aren't the only bad guys, they are just the most criminal manifestation. In "The Middle Man", the father of one of the serial killer/rapist, a police chief, pretty much said that sex industry workers deserve to be abused, dunno if he did it himself (hey, maybe he didn't kill one, but he could have committed a rape he didn't recognize as a rape), but well, can we, or he, realllllly be surprised at how his son turned out?

I second the plea for more female unsubs and less dead females.
