Sorry, I didn't want to seem whiny, but it seems like the hair trigger reaction towards a new female character regardless of role is suspicion, and I wanted to bring that to the forefront as it is a pattern I've noticed. I don't want to offend anyone, and I certainly don't want to impose my views, but i think it needs to be mentioned, especially in the wake of the whole 'CBS hates women' debacle of season six. If the majority of the fanbase reacts negatively to any new female leads or even bit-part characters, then the networks' treatment of its actresses might have, if not justification, then at least an explanation. But this wasn't directed at anyone in particular, just criminalxminds as a whole.
