Heh, I can list off a few episodes of this show that have made me cry. "Mosley Lane" may be the worst offender in that regard, I think-I don't care how many times I've seen it, I always wind up sobbing my eyes out at the end. Every. Single. Time. Didn't out and out cry at this one, but yes, that hugging scene at the end was indeed pretty emotional.
the shot of the baby above the hot bathtube
I actually squirmed during that scene, that was deeply uncomfortable (I tend to be that way with episodes that put children in danger as it is, though). As was the ruse the kidnapper used, 'cause, um, I have to admit, I might've gotten fooled by that, too. Yikes.
I rather liked JJ in this episode, particularly at the end, with the unsub (I just want all of the team members to come back next year, okay, TPTB? Please?). And the family moments with Will and Henry were sweet, too.
(Hi, by the way, everyone! Kinda lurked here off and on in recent months, but wanting to de-lurk a bit more.)
I knew it was a rouse in the episode, but I also know I'd be fooled in a real life, because there is no way I wouldn't check a car when I hear a baby crying. So considering the victims were nannies, I find the rouse very believable.
