God Reid was so hot in this episode!

I loved Emily "He's so life like!"

Erm, I'm a bit confused now. Isn't CM supposed to air on Wednesday nights? Did the time schedule change? *lives in Germany and has no clue at all* ;)

[identity profile] midnight-coffee.livejournal.com 2008-10-01 10:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's wednesday, isn't it?

LOL yeah, I know, but normally Germany is in front of the US in the time of day. And here it's Wednesday noon, so I just got confuzzled :p

Also, i think it may have aired yesterday in Canada for some reason.

Ah, yep, this could work. Thanks! =)

lovely XD

I like her blank face when she makes the "life-like" comment.
The humour was great in this episode

First thing I noticed about the episode?
The quotes are back!
I kinda missed them last time. :)

Yes, the new CM aired Tuesday night in Canada on CTV--because So you think You can Dance is more important to run on Weds (CTV picks up shows from all the major Amer. networks so there ends up being conflicts sometimes); it also looks like it will be on a day earlier for us next week as well.... Between SYTYCD and AI, we'll end up getting half the season a day early. And here I used to hate reality shows.

And for anyone who d/leds it--the bit torrent's been up since last night.

God, I loved this episode. Way better than Mayhem, I thought. I had no clue who the Un Sub was until the team found it - just like it should be! Doesn't it suck when you know who it is from the very beginning (which does happen sometimes)?

My friend and I have an ongoing bet for this season. She bets she can correctly guess 10 unsubs before the team does; I bet I could guess 10 victims (opening scenes don't count.)

I miss Reid's long hair! His monologue about cracking the code was fricking hilarious.

This episode was very quiet after the last one, but it feels just right. :) I loved it. The "He's so life like" moment was TEH AWESOMEPANTS!

Also, poor Hotch! What's going to happen to Hotch. When they were standing outside the house and the un-sub came out I just knew that the shooting was going to hurt his ear. I was a little worried that he'd lose his hearing right there!

I'm really excited about this season, I have a feeling it's going to be good.

Also, this season we're getting an Emily storyline. I hope so, I'd love to get to know her better. She's still a bit of a mystery to me.

Agreed, I rarely get to watch the shows at the same time as everyone else. This is awesome!

[identity profile] meg-tdj.livejournal.com 2008-10-01 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL!!! That was so hilarious. :D

Poor Hotch's ears~! D: Though he should have taken the time off. Silly Hotch.

I loved this episode's Reid moments. He let his true nerd shine! :D

- Coming to the Natti! Call me Reid! *phone fingers* Your haircut is adorable! (MGG seems to be like me, cutting his hair only once it gets to a certain length)

- Oh cool, the quote is from one of my favorite authors. I've read Fight Club about a hundred times.

- "Evil twin....eviler twin." *snort* ilu Reid

- Aw, Hotch, baby, go lie down somewhere quiet.

- Come on, Reid. You solved the Fisher King cypher, you can crack this code easy.

- The sky is rarely that clear in the O.H.

- "He's so lifelike." BWAH! Also, it's nice that Em is part of the family now and takes part in poking fun at Baby Brother Reid.

- Aw, poor woman. Even evil dead babies are sad.

lol... Just saw the "He's so lifelike" quip when I typed this. I love it!

[identity profile] saturniia.livejournal.com 2008-10-02 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
I miss Reid's long hair!

*That's* what so different! My carrier was having some small problems with audio, so I didn't hear the dialogue with that explanation. I spent the rest of the episode wondering what was different... thanks for the explanation.

[identity profile] saturniia.livejournal.com 2008-10-02 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
Well, we've never seen Reid drive the others before. Usually, it's the others driving him; I can recall Hotch and Garcia definitely so doing. Reid did have his own SUV in the finale/premiere, but driving the others? Didn't see it.

LOL! Snatching, will credit if used.

I am so in love with this episode. Hotch in pain, OMG, I was like falling over. Hotch/Prentiss moments, oh I fall over and squee. The case, the Unsub, ROSSI!!!!!!!!!!! I know, I know, I am such a Rossi-fangirl. And did I mention Prentiss? She was so excellent in this episode. You go girl, figuring out those constellations.

And I loved her moments with Morgan, and with Garcia in the car talking about clowns. OMG, I am so damn afraid of clowns. I hope Hotch took the long way home but I so know he didnt. He didnt even hear his cell phone ringing, you think he would have had it on vibrate, um hello. And extra squee for Prentiss making sure he was alright at the gravesite.

All in all a wonderful episode and I am all a twitter for next week. My show is BACK!!!!!!!

[identity profile] dustbunny105.livejournal.com 2008-10-02 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Great ep. Very quiet compared to the opener, and quite creepy.

Haha, Hotch trying to get the doctor to sign him off for duty. I love how she tells him not be around loud noises (at the risk of LOSING HIS HEARING. Does he think he'll be back on the field after THAT?) and he places himself in position to hear loud noises throughout the episode. Good to see him be sensible and drive at the end.

I don't quite know what I think about Reid's hair. Not that it looks bad or anything, but I've grown rather fond of it long.

Is it bad that my first suspicion when the DNA test matched the original Angel Maker, I immediately thought, "Ew, someone's been just holding on to samples of his jizz?" I squirmed for five seconds before a twin even occurred to me. Of course the former supposition turned out to be correct, but I feel odd for having jumped to that conclusion first. Also, the fact that the guy is called something like "Angel-Maker" and his legacy is passed on... did anyone else have somewhat inappropriate thoughts of comic book supervillians? And, er, giggle?

GARCIA GOT GROPED BY A FRIGGIN' CLOWN WHEN SHE WAS A KID. I made such a face when she relayed that story. Almost choked on my own spit, too. I'm right there with her about people hanging pictures of clowns painted by John Wayne Gacy on their walls. Struck me as funny, at first, that she fixated on the clown part.

I kinda felt sorry for that one woman, the guy's "lover". When they showed her in the cop car, I was like, "She didn't... did she? She did. Great Mother McGree, she totally did!"

... It was easier for Reid to write the lines out by hand than to use a computer. It was easier to DO IT BY HAND than to USE A COMPUTER. I love you, Reid. If I ever forget why I love you, I have things like this to look back on. LOL at Prentiss and her "so lifelike" crack; the straight face really packed the deal.

Aww... I felt bad for Chloe, losing the baby she was looking forward to. Even if she was looking forward to it because she's a tad deranged. I missed a few minutes, did they touch on whether she would have started killing if she hadn't lost the baby? I can't recall if continuing the murders was the plan all along or not. What I don't get is why she didn't just impregnate herself again. She had more semen.

Am I the only one who found it funny-- not necessarily in a haha way, just... I dunno, funny-- when Chloe threatened to kill that lady (forget her name already, doggonit...) if she didn't stay still and shut up or whatever? I mean, she was gonna kill her anyway, and it must have been pretty obvious.

OMG, SHE STABBED HERSELF WITH A FREAKING SCREWDRIVER. I mean, I kinda suspected she would, but still. EWEWEWEWOWOWOWOWEWWWWW. OW.

YAY, Reid gets to drive! His face when Morgan tosses him the keys is priceless. I love the bickering in general, really, it's adorable.

I've been hearing that there might be more about Emily, and I thought this episode sort of implied it. I'm looking forward to that like whoa. Also looks like there might be some fairly deep Hotchiness still to come.

Stupid question, more general than show-related. Obviously this sort of thing happens in real life, and probably there's a really obvious answer to this that I'm totally missing. But if these people are all aware that someone is killing women alone in their homes, why would any woman stay alone in her home? Without at least upping her security? I personally would be sleeping standing up in my closet with a baseball bat.
