THey need to figure out how to work him in more... I'm missing his interaction with the team. He can't sit at a table for 8 episodes....

I want to see some falling/stumbling scenes, just because that'd be cute.

That might work if MGG wasn't actually hurt. But he is, so that'd probably be too painful for him. :( So maybe not, since I loves MGG. ;)

I wasn't thinking actually falling. One can pretend trip on crutches pretty easy or have it off screen or blocked by a desk

I know, this sit at a table and stay behind with JJ is gonna get old really fast. I mean, don't get me wrong or anything - I don't mind Reid and JJ scenes, but I need to see the boy out in the field with Hotch - thank you!!! lol.

I'm with you there. I want my Hotch and Reid interaction -- and at this rate we're not going to get any. Plus, I would think that Reid would be a better person for Hotch to be talking to about what happened than either Morgan or Prentiss.

The same here, because I was thinking about that last night during my re-watch of the episode. I wonder if anyone else noticed the parallel's between what's happened to Reid and what's now happened with Hotch. Like the fact that in Elephant's Memory, Reid was the one who walked into a situation much the same way that Hotch did in last night's episode un-armed and was trying to save the unsub. And, Reid is the only other person on the team who could come close to understanding what Hotch is going through, because in Revelations he was taken and tortured for three days. And, in Faceless, Nameless Hotch was basically tortured sadistically in his own home. So, I wonder if the writer's are speaking to canon. Plus, it would be nice to see Hotch open up to Reid more than it would to see him open up to Prentiss or Morgan about it. Besides, if you look back over the season's Reid and Rossi are the two people that Hotch mostly opens up to about things, anyway. I'm just syain'...

But yeah, I said all of that to say that I agree with you. :)

Well he often has been the one to stay behind. But I think the real "problem" was that in this episode there wasn't really any need for Reid to use his particular set of skills. He can stay behind at the office and still contribute to the case. He just couldn't in this case because this time the focus was different.
