Sup guys?

So for all you CM DVD owners out there, how much did you pay for your boxsets and where did you get them from?

I've been shopping around for the best deals and so far all the ones I keep finding are either $40 or $35. Now, I'd pay that much for season 4 since its new and maybe for season 3, but I think its a bit much for seasons 1 and 2 considering the prices are supposed to go down a couple years after their releases.

Paid 20€ for each three seasons, but for European zone on a french site so...

seasons 1&2 came something between 20 & 30€, Season 3 30€. I got them all over amazon. 1&2 are the German boxes, the thirs is a UK import.

16 Punds each for the first two seasons 22 for the third, also European zone obviously.

Where from?

A HMV-Store in Belfast. They also sell online but I'm not sure about the postage (or if it was a special offer)

Hm, same here in Germany. And the fourth one isn't even advertised, yet, but I guess it will cost around 40,-€ in the first months :( (about 58,- $)
I paid those prizes (at Amazon, the cheapest offers I have found) and was fine about them, cause I DIRECTLY got them as soon as they were out for sale here, but meanwhile they really should go down with the prizes...
Perhaps it's because Criminal Minds is such a high standard show? I keep telling me that, calms me down a bit :p

ETA: just for general info: 20,-€ are about 30,-$ atm, so the German/European and American prizes don't differ too much.

I got the all from Amazon.co.uk they were way cheaper there than on the german Amazon, they often are cheaper than other places.

I have seasons one, three and four. I paid ~$35 for S1 (Best Buy), and !$60 for seasons three and four (Barnes and Noble).

Still haven't found season 2. They're not exactly easy to find.

I got the first two seasons for like 15 or 20 bucks at Wal-Mart. I think I paid 30 for one of the others. The other I bought new and paid 40 for it. Oh, and I'm in the US.

Well, a lot to do with pricing also depends on demand. If a lot of people are buying it the prices aren't necessarily going to go down. Prices usually go down over time because less and less people buy them. I got season one for $20, season two for $35, season three for $35, and season four for $45. All from Walmart.

I got seasons 1 and 2 at Best Buy last year for something like $45 each.

A few weeks back I was at ~walmart~ and found season 3 for $22. Places like Wal-Mart and Target have them on sale from time to time, it's just finding them if they're available. Best Buy has season 1 on sale right now for $19.99.

This might sound really weird, but try a local Menards if you can. I find things on DVD there that I don't find elsewhere.

As many have mentioned, pricing tends to be cyclical and it's just a matter of aggressively searching for sales. Target sometimes bundles seasons together (BtVS this year, S1&2=$20) as does Walmart. Last year we found CM S1 at Best Buy for $20, S2 was $45 and S3 was $45. When S4 was released, we found it for $30, which wasn't too bad. Good luck!

From Amazon, about $30-$35

I picked up 1-4 in Thailand dirt cheap, but they're region 4 (Aus and Pacific). Which is fine for me since I usually live in NZ. Back home, Borders was about the only place that stocked it, and it was ~$70-80 NZ for a set WITH staff discount. :/ I hate import prices. So picking them up for the equivalent of NZ$10-15 on holiday was AWESOME. :)

If you're in the US, Amazon.com is currently selling S1 for $24 (http://www.amazon.com/Criminal-Minds-Season-Mandy-Patinkin/dp/B000ION72Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1261934203&sr=8-2). For some odd reason, S2 is selling for $51 on the site (which is higher than their prices for S3 and S4). Otherwise, try Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Borders (with one of their 30% off coupons they offer once a month).

Personally I won't spend more than $30 on a dvd set, unless it's one that is impossible to find (Farscape for example).

I just paid $40 a piece for seasons 2 and 4.
My poor money...

I went looking for season 2 at Dimple Records and couldn't find it so I headed over to Fry's and found Seasons 1-3 (this was the weekend before 4 came out) in a package together for $100.00. After comparing what they were selling the seasons for separately it was a better deal to buy it like that. I got season 4 at Fry's as well the day it came out for like $33.

One of the biggest problems I'm having is finding seasons other than season 4. Its all that's at my local Wal-Mart at the moment and whenever I find seasons else where its expensive. I also don't live near a Frys or Menards and given my poor luck in the past, I'm not a huge fan of ordering stuff offline. :/ I'm pretty much limited to Wal-Mart, Barnes & Nobel, Best Buy, and Suncoast.

Shopping online will get you better prices (and usually free shipping). That's what I've found, anyway.

I know it usually does, but I've had so many issues in the past with it, I'd rather just try and entirely stress physically buying it before I turn to online.

I paid every season over 50 euro (Italy) at dvd store. I see here they are way too expensive :((

I got seasons 1 & 2 at my local Walmart for 14.96 a piece. But they were on an endcap not on the aisle with all the other TV dvds. They also had season 4 which was 39.96.

I only own seasons 1 and 3. I got them from Amazon.com Try looking for used copies too. I bought season 3 in used condition. They and in perfect condition and were still in plastic.

I recently saw Season 1 for $15 at Wal-Mart. 8)

Seems like everyone's Wal-Mart is more awesome than mine. :(
All we have is season 4 for $40. :(
