I love the fact that Rossi's first/previous badge:



is signed by none other than J. Edgar Hoover. Who died in 1972, while still head of the FBI...and Rossi's around 54, so he would've been like, 17, when he joined the FBI. I imagine it was just the props person having fun, but still....

Huh. I just finished watching that first scene :) Considering he never went near her hair, I think the only explanation for that trick is that Reid had legit magic powers.

In "The Instincts" right at the beginning in Reid's dream sequence, he is wearing matching socks!

For the first few seasons (1-3, I think?) they made him wear matching socks over his mismatched socks...after that, they just gave in and let him wear mismatched.

I know he wears mismatched socks in the second season. It's in "Revelations" where Tobias takes off Reid's shoes in order to hit the bottom of his feet. Reid is wearing an orange sock and a striped sock.

It's probably just me, but in 3x14 Damaged, when talking about the crime, they say it happened on Christmas Eve at one point. But it's like March (the 20 year anniversary) and when addressing it again, they say the father bought the axe for(/on) Christmas Eve to cut down a tree. I wish I had more details, but I can't remember all that well. When they first say Christmas Eve, it might've been an episode or two before. I really can't remember; I've just always wanted to know if it was a mistake or not. This probably didn't even make any sense. Sorry. :(

Hmmm, not sure about the Christmas Eve thing, I'd have to rewatch. But in Birthright, one or two eps before, Rossi says it's been twenty-two (or nearly twenty-two) years when he's talking to the town sherrif, but then the episode is supposedly around the twentieth anniversary so IDK.

No, the crime took place in March/April...but the parents were killed with the same axe they used to cut down the xmas tree...which is the association Rossi has with the crime/xmas trees.

That doesn't make sense--the unsub was part of a traveling carnival. In the midwest in the winter? Either I have my stuff confused or the writers do (and it wouldn't be the first time the writers screwed up:) )

There's one early on, Season 1 or 2, when Hotch, Morgan and someone else (maybe Elle?) are getting off the elevator in Quantico. You get a flash of Hotch laughing, but when the camera angle changes and they walk out, he's all business.

I never noticed the first one. And that's considering I have watched that part several times. I love it when Reid does magic :))

It´s not exactly a mistake, but I always have to laugh when I see Chad Brown in Amplification, because he seriously looks like the twin of Abner Merriman from Damaged. I had to take a look on the list of actors, I couldn´t believe they would do such a mistake as give two roles to one actor and hope we won´t notice. And fortunately they didn´t, but it makes me smile every time I see him. :D
