[JODY] Caucasian.. 7 yrs old. Typical little girl. The Unsub's daughter. She's living with a foster family on the verge of being adopted. GOOD CO-STAR

[SHERIFF SANDERS] 50s.. African American, rural Mississippi cop of the week. GUEST STAR

[SARAH] Caucasian, 38-42 yrs., a lovely wife and mother. Kidnapped and forced to behave as Jody's mother. GUEST STAR

[JONATHAN] Caucasian, Early 40s, Sarah's husband/Courtney's dad. Brought in after his wife has been kidnapped. GOOD CO-STAR

Is it just me or does this sound like a repeat?
I can't remember the name of the episode.. but it was a male unsub and he had a son, and he kidnapped women and made them act as though they were the kids mom, make them be nice to the son and then he'd kill them/

It's the same thing but with a daughter.

Yeah but didn't he kill those women regardless of whether they played along? I always had the idea that he was basically trying to get back at his ex in a way for leaving him.

But yeah, I really hope that this wouldn't be a repeat of that.

I think this one will probably have an unsub who's more mentally ill-psychopathic than just out to kill all mothers. I suspect it'll be more like the episode where the unsub would kidnap whole families and play house with them because his own family had fallen apart.

While it sounds similar it could be that this guy really is looking for someone to be a mother for his kid. The guy "In Name and Blood" was just using his kid as bait and to control the women.

This sounds more like the one this season with the guy kidnapping women and killing them if they gave birth to a girl. Or rather the wife. That is someone who is massively screwed up as opposed to evil.

I am pleased that they cast 40-year-old women to play 40-year-old women.

Also, when did CM start using the phrase "cop of the week" in official documents? Mwahahahaha. Somebody reads their press....
