I know the average number of eps per season in the past, but does anyone know how many episodes will be produced this season? 22, 24 or more? I'm curious.

I seem to recall an item from Ausiello that CM's season got bumped up by an episode or two, so I think it's 23-4.

Excuse me, my intention was not to make tranny jokes/homophobic jokes/failed gender or anything like that. I'm ABSOLUTELY pro gay and women rights and dignity and I NEVER intented on saying that girls can't look androgynous. All I said was that the cartoon looked like a transexual boy! Which, in my POV, only means that girl was poorly draw, it doesn't look like a tom-girl (which I love) nor a girly-girl. I looks like a boy who tries to look like a girl!
And if I offended you in any way, maybe your approach to pointing that out was not the best. There's nothing wrong with being polite and just saying "You have offended me because of that and that and that". Except if you just wanted to make me angry and prove nothing.

I was trying to stay hands-off, but that was a really classy dig at how "poorly drawn" Sailor Moon is, because she doesn't meet your standards for being a "tom-girl." It holds up pretty damn well for a 20 year old series, and Haruka is not an atypical example of androgyny in anime, or even in this series. You can check out a site (http://kinmoku.net/pops) dedicated to three characters who are women deliberately disguised as men.

You know, there's been years since I saw Sailor Moon - I was just a kid when it aired around here. But I don't think the whole draw was bad, I actually like the way anime looks.

Actually, her looking like a boy was completely intentional by the mangaka. It's written in the manga that when her powers first manifested she had the power to become man or female. She was a Sailor Senshi when she was female and a knight when she was a he, think like a tux and cape like Tuxedo Mask.
Annievh, I saw your joke for what it was, and to any one who has a sense of humor it was amusing. And this is coming from someone who is a HUGE fan of Sailor Uranus and has many homosexual and transexual friends.
Impertience, I think you took this a little too literally and way to seriously and that you maybe don't know the whole story behind Uranus in the Sailor Moon universe.

See, now, the only unsophisticated jokes I can think of are really bad fart ones stemming entirely from the "Uranus has the power of wind" thing. And it's not really so much bad fart jokes as ... snickering like a seven-year-old boy. But then again, I think I'm getting sick, so I'm sure I can come up with more (actual) unsophisticated jokes later. ;D

I may or may not have watched a ton of Sailormoon at some point in time...Uranus and Neptune are my favorites. ^_^
