Possible spin-off news

Not sure the accuracy of this information, but the L.A. Times just reported Jason Wiles as part of the spin-off team.

...a "Criminal Minds" spinoff that will be introduced on the mother ship this season as a two-hour episode. Written by Chris Mundy ("Criminal Minds"), it stars Forest Whitaker, Matt Ryan, Michael Kelly, Beau Garrett and Jason Wiles. In the hands of the original's writing and executive producing team, and with Whitaker (pictured right) at the forefront (did you see him play a cop on "The Shield?"), this could be another gold star for CBS.

I don't know about gold star, but if this is accurate, I find it at a minimum amusing considering Jason (of Third Watch fame -aka Bosco- btw) played an unsub in Psychodrama (Season 2, Episode 4).

Possible Criminal Minds fest?

Hi! I'm new to the Criminal Minds fandom, coming from the Harry Potter fandom ~~which is freakin huge~~ and I was discussing with a friend how many Harry Potter fanfiction/fanart fests there are in that fandom. I'm not sure if there are any Criminal Minds-specific fests (I do know that there were some CM prompts at

slashfest, but only a few), and that got us talking about starting a fest.

So we asked the lovely mods if we could post a poll, just to see how many of you would be interested as well!
