For those Mandy fans ...

EW has a review of An Evening With Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, which is on Broadway until January 13, 2012.

For those unfamiliar with LuPone's vocals (she played Libby Thatcher in the TV series Life Goes On), she's a tremendous vocalist and Broadway veteran. Here she is from the 1988 Tony Awards singing "Anything Goes" from the 1987 revival.

And if you haven't seen Mandy's K-Tel records parody of famous hits, Criminal Minds style, well ... here it is...

5x12 Uncanny Valley

Hi, I'm new to this comm and I come with a question.

Does anyone know the song that was playing at the end of this episode? It starts when the girl with diabetes is helped out of the house and carries on through Spencer's chess game.

It's not on tunefind.com

I'm hoping that someone on this comm can help me out, because I'm stumped. My google-fu's failed me. Please help.

Music in CM

Hi everyone!
I´ve got a question, or maybe a topic for the discussion for you ;)

What do you think about the music in the show? Is that just me, or the musical backround has realy changed? For the better(IMHO). Anyone shares this opinion? Or do you have different one? Tell us!

I realised it when I was watching Nameless, Faceless and it´s music reminded me kind of The Dark Knight OST. And the music used in Uncanny Valley just knocked me off my feets! Yann Tiersen´s Amelie from Montmartre came to my mind on more than one occasion(especialy the last scene!!! :-* ).

I think the music realy improved. I remember in third season(or so) it was a little distracting when the creators used to cut the theme in the middle when the scene ended, but I think it dissapeared too.
What do you think?

I was wondering if anyone who has seen the commercial for Criminal Minds on A&E knew what song was playing in the background? I really love it and want to see if I can get it off iTunes, but I have no idea what song it is.

(no subject)

First of all, they definitely played Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah in last nights episode! As much as it used in almost ever TV show and movie, I still like that they played it =D But I could have sworn they used it earlier in the season. I could be thinking of a whole other show though, am I mistaken? Does anyone happen to have that website that lists music played in TV shows and movies by any chance?

Also, I'm wondering, how is Criminal Minds doing with the ratings? I've heard various things really, so I don't actually know, but I'm assuming it's doing better than it was when it started.

I'm so damn excited for the next episode, it looks fantastic!

Before anyone asks...

the song from the end of tonight's episode is "When the Music's Not Forgotten" by Deadman.

I'm still not sure what I thought of the episode, but I like the song. I'd love a compilation CD at the end of the season, the songs have all been terriffic.
