I'm looking for a beta for my upcoming

au_bigbang entry, About a Girl.

To start, its AU so the person would have to be into that. Its de-aged, some characters are teenagers and some are adults. The main three characters are Emily Prentiss, Elizabeth Prentiss, and Erin Strauss. There is Rossi/Strauss shippiness and Emily/Ian Doyle shippiness. I'm just looking for someone to give it the normal beta treatment...grammar, characterization, tell me if any of it makes sense. I've been working on it for months on and off and am finally on the last few scenes. So let me know if its something that might appeal to someone out there. Thanks.

I thought I had this fic bookmarked, but I don't, and I couldn't find it through Google and trawling through my favorite authors' CM fic listings.

It's an AU where Rossi wasn't joking when he said Reid was left in a basket on the steps of the FBI, and he is Reid's adopted father. The pairing was Hotch/Reid, Prentiss/Rossi, iirc. Please help.

Does any one know where to find good promo pictures of the Criminal Minds characters? I am NOT looking for episode promos, unless it is a good profile shot of one character. (I know episode promos are posted here, but I've been having memory loss lately and can't recall which episodes had these kind of pictures!)

I’m really looking for recent seasons, as I can find promos of the earlier seasons (1-3), but not the later ones. High-resolution is preferred, but I can make do with smaller pictures, as long as they are not too small. I searched the community for promo stills, but I could only find S3, and all the others were episode promos.

I’m particulary searching for JJ, Reid, and Morgan.

So I was watching 'Zoe's Reprise' the other day and the part in the beginning where Rossi gets his 'I'm a best selling author, here let me read to you' on made me think. He writes about previous cases, about his experiences in the BAU, about the mental processes of his unsubs, about methodology and tactics and what have you in relation to his work in catching and assisting in catching bad guys.

I have to assume that real profilers/ cops/ detectives/ agents/ doctors have written books about their experiences as well. Does anyone know of any novels in the the same vein as the ones Rossi writes? The only things I can find at the local Barnes n' Noble are True Crime, which read fictional detective stories.

I've been working on a fic where Spencer has secretly been going clubbing in a skirt. Naturally, this led to a lot of speculation in the comments about MGG wearing a skirt, which isn't out of the realm of possibility since he started out as a model, and some major disappointment when we couldn't find any pictorial evidence. So, since it looks like I'll never find a real picture, I was wondering if someone with amazing photoshop skills and some spare time on their hands could possibly make this happen. Or, if someone's already done it, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I'm hoping to get some help here. I joined a challenge for the vampire big bang. And well I'm pretty the only one who decided to do Criminal Minds.

Anyways! I was hoping that I could have some help piecing together Garcia's past? It seems a little bit fuzzy. I know that her parents died when she was eighteen in a car accident. That she went CalTech and went off the grid. But they didn't mention her parents names right?

I'm trying to figure out where I am with creative freedom but at the same time with keeping to canon. Because I'm already messing up a large part of it.. Canon that is. (Reid's the vampire so... yeah.)

So much obliged with any help that you can give me. I hope this is okay to post here. If not then I'm sorry.

(And does anyone know where I can find someone to beta this for me?)

Still kind of new to Livejournal. I opened an account awhile back because all my favorite authors on fanfiction.net tended to post here more often. Life and college got in the way for a bit, but I'm exploring the site again, and SO freaking happy I found this community! Now all I need is an idea for my first CM fic...

I've also always wanted to make icons, and now that I have a little experience with Photoshop I want to give it a whirl. Is there a type everyone likes? (Humor? A certain character?
