After being up til 4:00am, I wanted to sleep late but that didn't really happen.

I was woken up around 11:00 by the guy from the place where Oldest Brother's stuff is stored. I arranged for it to be brought to the storage unit I signed up for, and paid by credit card. It was very expensive, let'd leave it at that.

Then I called the Kid and we talked, about various things. I finally got up at 12:00ish.

Then I had breakfast and coffee and proceeded to do things. Lots of things, such as pay the cottage insurance, email the cottage deed information to mashfanficchick's lawyer, email all the insurance documentation to everyone, and write to the County Clerk of Niagara County to get a physical copy of the deed.

This all took a lot of time. Finally at 6:00ish I went to the bedroom and played solitaire until it was just before 7:00 when I came out and Teamed with the FWiB.

We talked til it was time for my Al-anon meeting. The meeting was pretty good, M and S were both there plus someone else, and it was good.

After the meeting I called John and filled him in on changes in the cottage situation. Denise's father has to go for chemotherapy for cancer all summer, a three hour drive away. So he has been a bit distracted from the cottage situation.

Then I called the Kid and filled her in, and then I had dinner.

Finally I went to the bedroom and lay down and played solitaire, though I almost dozed off, I'm so tired.

Then it was pet feeding time, so I fed the pets, and here I am.

After staying up very late watching our new binge, The Lincoln Lawyer, mashfanficchick and I got up late this morning. Stuff was going on by email and text about the cottage rental, too. I showered and dressed, and we went to Starbucks for coffee, and some egg bites.

Then we headed in to Pridefest. It was hot but not too bad, and one of the stalls was giving out free sunblock. We walked all through the fest, I only bought some lemonade and something Korean to eat, but there was a lot of free stuff.

The Kid called me about the cottage right when I was getting off the subway there, so we talked that through and decisions were made.

Nice thing, I was wearing my Bard Alumni baseball cap, and a girl caught up to me, and it turned out she was an incoming Freshman, and wanted to know what it was like. So I gave her a glowing report, and she was happy, so that made me feel good.

Eventually we finished everything, and we took the subway back, though mashfanficchick didn't go home, ze went to zer father's cause it's his birthday. I went back to zer apartment to pick up my overnight stuff, and kill time til the Uber home would be cheaper at night.

I got back successfully, and packed my stuff, and I ordered my tickets for my trip to the cottage, I am going on a Thursday because I thought that would be cheaper ticketing than Saturday. It wasn't but it's two extra day so OK.

Then I Teamed the FWiB. We were on for about an hour and a half when his brother called and he had to get off. Which was OK because it was time for me to call Middle Brother. Who is doing fine.

Then I packed up the computer, and went to Uber home. That was weird. I put in the request, and was told there was someone 4 minutes away. But he kept getting further away rather than closer! And just when I was about to cancel the ride and request another, the app reset, and I got another driver, also about 4 minutes away. Good, I thought. But almost immediately the app rest again, and I got a third driver, who did in fact show up and take me home. Weird!

I got home, and all was well. I unpacked a bit, fed the pets, and started here.

Had the alarm set for 10:00 but hit the snooze button til almost 11:00. Then got up and had breakfast.

Had therapy which was good. Then had coffee, showered and dressed.

Did a little cleaning, as I'm trying to get back to my resolution to do a little bit every day. I emptied the overflowing trash can of junk mail and took it out

I heard back from both John and Laure about the cottage deed and I now have the paperwork. Laure Facebook messaged me about the cottage insurance, and renting the cottage to Ricky. I have to call the Kid to discuss.

I spoke to Jen, mashfanficchick's lawyer, about the cottage deed and she gave me some helpful advice.

Finally at 5:15 I left for my Al-anon meeting in the Bronx. Had pizza for dinner first. The meeting was small but good. M gave me a ride to the bus stop afterward.

Got home and Teamed the FWiB. Then fed the pets and started here. Got the entry almost all finished when I did something and most of it disappeared and I had to start over. *grumble*

I slept late, and got up and had breakfast and coffee. I unpacked my duffle bag from my trip, dressed, and took out the garbage.

I made a phone call to the cottage insurance company since they didn't call me back Monday. I made a call to the company that's storing Oldest Brother's belongings. I rented a storage until where mashfanficchick has zer unit, to move Oldest Brother's things into.

I Teamed the FWiB. I didn't have D&D tonight, it was canceled.

Just had a long conversation with the Kid about the plan to rent the cottage. She's bogged down on insurance details, and stuff about the deed problems.

Fed the pets, now it's time for bed.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with the eye surgeon.

Got up at a bit after 10:00 and str and had coffee. Then showered and washed my hair. I put in the curl stuff that Dani recommended, and I think it looks pretty good.

I called the insurance company about the cottage insurance. She said she would have to call the underwriters and ask, and would call me back. No one has called.

I went to mashfanficchick's place, and we waited for Dani and John. The trip there was OK, the walking bits were very hot, but the bus and subways were nicely air conditioned.

Dani and John hit a lot of bad traffic and it was quite late when they got there. We went to the storage unit and put some of the stuff for them and stuff for mashfanficchick's father in the car, then drove to Great Neck. We couldn't get everything because it was too hot to be moving all the stuff around.

We dropped zer father's stuff off and then ate dinner at a pizza place. Then we headed home. We made a stop at J Mart for some stuff too.

They took me home and helped me in with all my stuff that had been in the car, the duffle bag, my pillow, my jacket, and a bag of stuff, plus my two 12 packs of sugar free Vernors.

Then I got on the computer and Teamed the FWiB.

Tomorrow RK is taking me to my doctor's appointment, Then I'm taking him out to eat. mashfanficchick is coming too.

Got up for my meeting. Couldn't have breakfast or coffee due to the lack of milk or creamer, so after my shower, I dressed and went to the bagel shop for a bacon, egg, and cheese, and coffee.

Then I took the 28 bus to my meeting. There was a 5K walk going on on Francis Lewis and streets were blocked off, so the bus diverted, and dropped off at 32nd. It took me awhile and a few tries to figure out which direction to go for 35th, but i got there, and then to the church, just on time.

The meeting was very good, though smaller than usual. Only three of us went to the diner afterward. I didn't eat anything, but I had two iced coffees.

Then I took the 13 bus home. Put in a Shipt order first thing, then got on the Starsky and Hutch chat.

Chatted til a little after 7:00, then Teamed the FWiB. We talked for over an hour and a half, which was nice.

After we got off, I had dinner, and fed the pets.

Now after this I'm going to call the Kid.

We have bombed Iran. This is a very bad thing, and will lead to bad consequences I fear.

Got up this morning at 8:00 and went with Dani and Winnie to the little store down the block from the motel for breakfast. I got coffee and a ham, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. It was very good.

Then we went to the beach for awhile, but then had to go back, wake up mashfanficchick and pack up to check out.

We did that and then went to the main part of town to a candy shop.

Then we took Winnie to camp. We left her off, and then stopped for a little bit at Raymond Beach where we wadded in the lake and had someone take our picture.

We stopped for lunch at a Mexican restaurant and had burritos. Then we started the drive back.

Eventually we reached New Jersey and got dinner at the Vince Lombardi Service Area. We got food at Pret a Manger.

We came back to the hotel and unloaded our stuff. I ate my sandwich, and then got my computer set up.

I teamed the FWiB, and then started here.
