Please, you guys...tell me what's going on!!

- The unsub has to have a general problem with cops, not specific officers. There's no way to know who's going to answer a call.

- Playboy looks familiar. Who is he? It'll come to me....GUILLERMO! From Weeds! What are you doing here, Guillermo? Shouldn't you be running drugs through a tunnel in a maternity store?

- Dear Police, The FBI would like to remind you that along with prostitutes and drug addicts, gang members are people too. Love, The BAU

- See, guys? Hotch gave you a chance to do it right. You didn't listen and now he's taking over. You're in the naughty corner.

- I saw the unsub getting shot by Guillermo from a mile away.

I didn't enjoy this one much. It didn't have that intense throat grabbing effect. Morgan connecting to his past and Hotch being the intense man in charge made up for it a bit.

There was not enough Reid in this episode.

I'm really bummed they cut the flashback to Morgan's childhood seeing his dad get killed. IMO, that would've made this episode more worthwile. Why bother releasing that spoiler info and the cast list with 'Young Morgan' and 'Morgans Dad' if you're just going to yank it away on us, show?

Overall, I didn't love this episode (but I also kinda expected I wouldn't, so it's okay). It felt unfinished - there were a couple of things they could've explored more (the fight club, giving us a bit more on Morgan's past rather than just reiterating the same old stuff we know, etc), but they sort of dropped the ball IMO. B*tchy!cops was somewhat interesting, as this is the most hostile we've ever seen a police force towards the team, but it felt like it took forever for the team to make obvious conclusions (like that the gang shooter wasn't the real shooter). I dunno, it just felt 'off' in general.

And also - complete lack of cute one-liners or team moments (*I've been spoiled by the awesome team-ness of this season so far, so its absence was really felt*). And, of course, as it's been stated - not enough Reid ;) (...yeah, I know, season 4 has been non-stop Reid, but he's still my favourite!).

On the plus side, Hotch's shades are still as awesome as ever!

i liked this one. it was an interesting change of story from the usual serial killer, though i wish we could have learned more about the unsub. we did get that short look at his childhood, but that was just kind of referred to.

"be safe, my loves." "thanks garcia" <3

Morgan is SUCH a badass. "NO you don't -morgan stance-" when the a-hole cop arrested the gang banger whose name i forget.

silly unsub, you cant sneak up on Hotch. ever. i'd imagine surprise parties for him are damn near impossible.

and was anyone else SUPER creeped out by that Beanie fellow in the fight club?

Did anyone else think that MGG sounded a mite bit hoarse in the plane? 'Cuz I totally wanted to snorgle him with blankets and chicken soup when I heard his voice. *ahem*

I felt *something* was missing in this episode, too, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll have to watch again when it isn't 2:40 am to see if I can figure it out - everyone seemed to be in their own little 'bubble' the entire time, I guess... and Garcia seemed kind of, I don't know, almost canned? Like if you took Garcia and mixed her with ... okay, I was going to say 'Spam', as in the mushy meat stuff, but that wasn't quite what I meant. I'm not leaning towards cannibalism... I think I'm trying to say that it sounded like Cheap!Garcia instead of the WholesomeAndNutritious!Garcia we've all grown to know and love.

To wrap this up, we've learned that Reid/MGG + hoarseness = snorgles + blankets + chicken soup (you know MGG would totally have some wicked blankets), and Garcia + Spam = bad.

I think this episode was a tribute to fallen cops and showing the difficulties of the job -- most especially in Morgan's line, "they still have to do their job; they're walking into a potential ambush every time they take a call." As a tribute, it was lovely.

Not one of the best episodes IMO, but not the worst, either.

Interaction between the cops and the FBI was interesting. It was a nice change from the OMG.YAY. Poor cops though - the cop that was killed when the Unsub lit the mannequin on fire? That was like, wow, don't go by yourself!

Garcia was speaking French a lot - is this a throwback to that trip with Kevin that was mentioned many moons ago? I can't remember where they were supposed to go, or if they've already been.

Nice bits of history with Morgan and how he interacted with everyone. Hotch was all in control and wow, I was freaked there for a moment with the unsub.

Not so much of the rest of the team there, but Todd is growing on me, so who knows. I may even grow to like her. Emily and Reid, we need more of. Rossi, too.

Ew, Beanie. Don't kill my Fight Club love. Kthx.

Playboy! Man, I miss Weeds. Return to your drug running tunnel, man.

Hmm. Not much else I remember about this episode. BUT, where has all the Morgan/Garcia interaction gone? They never speak anymore, seems like.

On a more technical note, how big is a .357 bullet? Because it seems like a couple of those guys took a while to die, and even if he wouldn't have hit the spinal cord directly, the force from being shot would have generally blown either the jugular or the oesophagus apart, so at most, it shouldn't have taken more than a few seconds. Unless it only did take a few seconds and I'm just nitpicking.

New person. Have been lurking. Can't remember if I've actually commented before, but... HI.

Not the the best episode EVAR but definitely fun. Reid fangirls are going to hate me, but I actually breathed a sigh of relief that he wasn't front and center again. I really like him, he ranks up there as a favorite, but sheer over-exposure is making me start thinking they should list MGG first in the credits and call it Geek Squad. <<

That said - and I'm sorry, Reid fangirls ;_; - I did enjoy this ep, even if it was a little predictable.

And really, any sin can be forgiven with awesome shots of Hotch's glasses and Hotch with shotgun.

Garcia's "Stay safe, my loves" was just awesome. I loved it.

Good ep. Not the best. But still enjoyable. =D

I liked the episode, it was different, but a great tribute to the fallen cops. I only wish they did a bit of a flashback deal for Morgan, like they did with Reid often.

But, Garcia got more time in this, however, there's no Morgan-Garcia interaction, which made me :(.

It was a good episode, but... hrm.. Slightly lacking.
