On a more technical note, how big is a .357 bullet? Because it seems like a couple of those guys took a while to die, and even if he wouldn't have hit the spinal cord directly, the force from being shot would have generally blown either the jugular or the oesophagus apart, so at most, it shouldn't have taken more than a few seconds. Unless it only did take a few seconds and I'm just nitpicking.

.357's kinda mid-sized; he could have definitely gone bigger, but it's got a lot of stopping power. However, it's not really the size of the bullet that would dictate how huge a hole is torn. =) If the UnSub was using hollowpoints, sure. There's be a LOT of damage and insta-death. But if he's using regular run-of-the-mill "I just bought these at Wal-Mart" bullets - it would take a few seconds of suffering.

I had a moment myself where I was like... you should die more quickly. But, then it struck me that the UnSub probably wouldn't get specialty bullets - they'd be more expensive and easier to trace.

And this small ballistics lesson brought to you by lack of sleep and caffeine. YAY. Hi, btw, and nice to meet you. =D

Yeah, I considered that, but then I figured that the was quite close to them when he shot them, so the force of the impact would have been increased.

And hi. :)

Yeah, it's entirely possible, and hard to tell. =D But, you know. Had to be done for Drama's sake.

And thank you =)

Lol, yeah. That scene where the cop (Mark?) was dying and his partner was just frantic made me freak.

No worries. :) So who's your fave character?

Yeah... that scene was just... ;_;

I'm a Hotch fangirl. =D But there's no one on the team I go UGH NOT AGAIN (unless it's another Reid episode after the Nth one). I'd have to say, though, that Hotch, Rossi, and JJ are the top three.
