Prophet Prediction

Since a great deal has already been posted about the bungled spin-off tie-in, I will keep this brief: My only motivation to watch the spin-off IF it gets off the ground would be to see if my prediction is correct.

I predict that Prophet spent his time in prison for fraud stemming from a religious/I-can-hear-your-dead-father-and-he-forgives-you scheme a-la The Mentalist, or some other sort of con. I mean, what other crime could he be convicted of that would make him a desirable addition to a BAU team? Though it has been established that Criminal Minds characters (coughReidcough) don't always have to go through the typical bureaucratic channels, I'm still confused about how the writers are going to pull off a felon in the FBI. But that's a whole other issue...

So am I psychic or just delusional? I'd like to hear your input!
