Yes, that is also true! Dx Ugh. Sometimes I feel like Reid's entire character background is just a black hole. There are SO many inconsistencies that it's hard to say what exactly is going on with him in any given plot arc. One day he's dying, the next he's fine. One day he's in the midst of a drug addiction and the next he's fine.
So really, yeah. I know it's not likely to be picked up again, but they have brought it up in every season since Revelations. So I have hope for consistency! :D
