Cool episode but the Psycho-ripoff at the end was a disappointment.
Ok, it did make sense that the mum wasn't real. I can't imagine any sane mother approving of her son kidnapping women, dressing them up in your image, making them act out scenes and then killing them when they got it wrong. It was pretty obvious that the mother had NO interest in the victims so it did make me wonder why she'd approve of it.
Also, I wondered why we didn't see her show up on the video footage at the train station when the unsub is looking for victim number 2. I guess that was the first clue that she wasn't real.
But still, finding out that mummy dear was a decaying corpse kinda ruined it for me.
