However, you cannot deny that she was 0% helpful with this case. Her suggestions did not help with narrowing down the list, she did not help them find the UnSub (besides the part where they guessed it was him and then found she was missing), and she put the entire team in danger by breaking Hotch's rules. I'm not mad, and it's clear that this was just her into, but still. Totally unhelpful. xD
Which is actually what convinced me that she isn't a Mary Sue, if she were, she would have solved the problem. She would have been essential to getting the bad guy and probably save the other team members while she was doing so and thus instantly earning her spot on the team.
Just compare this ep, to the one with the spin off cast. Now those people came off as a bunch of Mary Sues that got way too much attention spent on them.
