I love this show because of Spencer Reid. While it isn't quite confirmed officially in canon that he's an Aspie, Matthew Gray Gubler has said he plays Spencer as if he is an Aspie. For me, that's significant, because while they sometimes tease him, the show doesn't make him the butt of jokes or an object of ridicule or someone for the others to make fun of. Even if he didn't have the Aspie tendencies, he's still respected for being smart, and I love having smart people being the good guys. He's a valuable member of his team, the others respect him, and he can even be the hero once in a while. (It also doesn't hurt that he's very attractive.)
