I still just want to know how exactly it is that you know they never intended to call her? Or that they didn't call her? Same point I made in a reply post, along with your entire last paragraph. Her tweet did not express any surprise indicating she found out the news from fans of the show. Nor does her firing breathe sexism to me. Sounds like a business move. Why keep a character/actor who is not furthering the show, pleasing the fans, or making the big bosses some money? That's business.
