I'll miss seeing Hotch too, but I seriously doubt Gibson's innocence in any of this

"Also, not saying I have any personal knowledge of the show or the people involved, but just saying HYPOTHETICALLY…..people who have two instances of physical altercations on a set often have more strikes against them than just those….its just that the other strikes probably weren’t of a sufficient degree to warrant headlines. But again….hypothetically….someone who’s gotten violent at least twice in his workplace probably has a history of being moody, aggressive or otherwise antagonistic, because those kind of blow-ups don’t just pop up out of nowhere. And especially with a long-running show that’s gone through major staffing shake-ups in the last couple years, both in front of the camera and behind it, the actor in question might not have as many supporters as he once did and there might be a lot more people around who were less willing to put up with shit.
Also, Hollywood is a small town and everyone in it knows pretty much everything that goes on in it, because the very nature of networking is no matter what level of the town’s power structure you’re on, you know people all over the place. So you better believe if a lead actor who’s been on a show for over ten years has a reputation on that set….everyone else in Hollywood already knows that reputation. Which means his people would be fighting very hard for him to keep his job because they know its not going to be easy placing him elsewhere.
Which means if they can’t leverage ten + years worth of fanbase and long-running/long-building storylines into enough of a reason to keep him, people at that show REALLY wanted him gone. And were so justified in wanting him gone, his people couldn’t go above their heads to the network itself, aka the people who aren’t on set everyday.
