A question about Foyet...

A small question, because I am somewhat confused...Was it ever clarified on HOW Foyet got into Aaron's apartment to stab him 9 times? I'm just wondering if he stole the managers keys or something. Also, did any of them mention to Hotch while he was in the hospital that Reid got shot and was in surgery? I noticed that he was neglected in the episode after they took him to the hospital.

When the spin-off was announced, I was excited.

Then I saw the character sketches. I was not so excited anymore.

Then the other night I was watching CM reruns. They were showing P911; this is the one where a little boy by the name of Peter is being auctioned off by his pedophile kidnapper.

As I was watching it, I realized that if they wanted to do a spin-off that I personally could believe, they already had the basis for a really good one with the characters of Katie Cole and Amanda Gilroy in the Crimes Against Children Unit.

Anyone else think so?

Nit-picking Hotch's Personal Arsenal

I was re-watching The Tribe the other night and was hit by something.

I know telescopic batons are illegal as civilian weapons, but are they common as FBI melee weapons? I suppose if you didn't want to advertise what you were carrying like beat cops tend to, what with having the baton sheathed at your hip, but somehow I don't think it's a common choice for a melee weapon. I could be completely wrong, my knowledge of FBI weapons training is next to nothing. Just can't seem to find anything on melee weapons training on-line.

Also, I'm pretty sure Hotch carries a .23 Glock, but what about the gun at his ankle?
