Okay, so I'm sitting here watching TV at 3:30 in the morning. And I noticed something. While Criminal Minds is one of my favorite shows in the world, it's writers really have no concept of what it's like to live in a small town.
I'm watching the episode "Lucky" which is set in a small town in Florida. A Catholic priest tells the gang that his church is the only one in town. I don't think so.
I live in Georgia, in a town called Concord. We have a population of less than 400 people. Now, take a minute to think about what that means. For most of you, there will be more people in your local WalMart at 6:00pm on Sunday than live in my entire town. That being said, we have four churches in the city limits. We have a white baptist church, a black baptist church, a white methodist church, and a black methodist church.
There is no way in hell a small town in the South, even taking into account that Florida is barely Southern, only has one church. And if, by some weird act of a Mesopotamian god no one has ever heard of, it did only have one church every good Southern person knows it would have to be a Baptist church.
I'm not saying I agree with any of this. I'm an athiest, but I'm a logical athiest who has lived in the South her whole life. And that is how we roll.
Don't get me started on that episode where that kid in the small town tried to bash in Dakota Fanning's sister's brains with a baseball bat, and the good townsfolk had put the elementary school kids on a buddy system. I guess because their parents couldn't be buggered to meet them at the bus. Once again, not how small towns roll.
I'm going to bed now. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
Hope I don't piss off a mod.

I have a quick question. Are the bonus features included with the discs when you order them from Netflix? I'm curious because sometimes when you borrow and not buy the dvd sets the bonus features aren't made available. Blockbuster does this at times; just curious before I sign up. Thanks!
Cap that pic!

So awhile back I noticed there was a tag (misc: cap that pic) and that it hadn't been used in a very long time. I thought it would be fun to try to start that up again. Let's see what hilarious caps you can can come with.
