If I was a criminal, I'd be... a pirate?....Turning myself over to Derek Morgan? Some combination of the two, though I don't think I'd do too well in jail :(

I watch a lot of the reruns on TV or online, and even watched some of this past season, but I'm kinda new to the fandom and have a few questions; I figured you lot would be my best resource. Sorry if they're stupid.

First: the team members, or most, sometimes get introduced as "Supervisory Special Agent _". Do they all have this rank? I'm just a little confused because it seems like sometimes you hear SSA and other times it's just agent. Just wondering!

Second: Did Hotch take some time off and leave Morgan in charge/something happen that makes Morgan in charge, or for some time at least? If so what season/episodes? And as of now is Hotch team leader again?

Lastly: In Lo-Fi/Mayhem it's mentioned that Morgan is being considered for a position in NY (?). I know Hotch wouldn't recommend him, but they were still interested in having him, right? "My opinion doesn't matter." "Your opinion matters to me." And obviously Morgan doesn't leave, but is the issue ever dealt with again or is it dropped after this episode?
