So there was mention of Prentiss looking like Siouxsie Sioux, and Hotchner likes The White Album and Rossi likes The Rat Pack but what are your theories on the record collections of the profilers? I have a few.

Emily Prentiss: I would bet she has the best record collection, classics of the 80s goth/post-punk scene (Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Mission, The Chameleons, The Smiths etc.) and I could see her owning a lot of shoegazer Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins because she would have gotten to college when those bands exploded on the college scene. I can also see her owning a lot of the classics of rock snobbery like The Velvet Underground, Pixies, Roxy Music, Patti Smith etc. She would have been that kind of cool alterna-girl in college.

Penelope Garcia: Veruca Salt, The Breeders, The Decemberists, Sleater-Kinney, also probably a Morrissey fan. I see a lot of girl power rock and cute indie rock.

Spencer Reid: classical, bebop, his mom liked Bob Dylan, generally clueless about music outside that range. I would love to see his reaction to Lou Reed and his drug opuses.

I can't really picture anything for JJ, I picture Rossi sticking to crooners with a secret Burt Bacharach record, and Hotchner never getting into rock n roll culture and sort of just sticking by stand-by popular and acclaimed records. I want to say that Morgan would have a love of old school hip hop (DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five) but I could be totally off on that.

What are your theories? Sorry if I was a little esoteric in my selection.
