Summary: Everyone on Emily Prentiss' BAU team was a little unusual; herself being a vampire and Morgan being a werewolf were only part of it. David Rossi being her chosen blood donor was another large part of it. But despite years of keeping things on the level of friendship, a long-term case brings a few important things to light, not the least of which is that life can be too short for those who aren't prepared to pay dearly for it. And for some the price is too high.

the_bau is a CRIMINAL MINDS based role-play community picking up from the season 6 finale. All canon characters must begin with the history provided up until, and including, the finale for the show’s 2010/11 season. Characters from other crime-drama syndicates, (such as NCIS, Bones, Covert Affairs, etc.) who can realistically cross paths with our profilers, are welcome. We are accepting applications and are currently only 4 characters strong (Reid, Garcia, Morgan and Prentiss). The game will be more more of what the show doesn't give us (character driven) to include our outside of canon characters. Doors will officially open soon. Check us out! :)

BAU members who were once in the armed forces

For some reason, I have this impression that Rossi was once in the armed forces....but I can't recall which episode that may have been mentioned in. Then it occured to me that maybe I'm mixing up characters, and it was Gideon who was once a soldier.


I know Hotch was a lawyer and Morgan was a cop and Prentiss was a spy :) Am I going crazy? Was one of the BAU in the military once upon a time?



(Might lead to fic. Will definitely assuage my curiosity.)
