Another post-galore on tonights episode.
Spoilers - of course.
I'm sorry if this double posts.
Alright, I'm sure we all went into this with a smidge of trepidation. I know I had a little eye-twitch at the jist of this one - the victim-agent, geek-beauty love thing. Very descriptive, I know. Point being, the plot was rather childish and soap opera-esque compared to the general idea of the show.
All I have to say about this episode is this. Eh. It wasn't too bad. It wasn't too good. It had some moments and quite a few questions.
My favorite part was that freaky chick hitting on Gideon; him with his straight face, and then he barrels out of there with the most disgruntled demeanor. Other than that Reid's completely awkward actions are always nice for a good, clean laugh.
On a more negative note, I do not see what Reid and Lilia (is that her name?) possibly could have felt for one another. They had absolutely nothing in common and most of their conversations were two-liners to fill time. I expected her to be very understanding of Reid's... well, self, and that would be the bridge. But even there she was very blunt and didn't even seem to understand what a unique person she was dealing with. She didn't even touch upon the genius bit. Not that that isn't a bit refreshing, but it is a very important part of his personality.
The plot itself had a nice twist with the female stalker. I was expecting some middle aged balding banker type, not a psycho blond chick.
I'll leave the rest for you to fill in. Thoughts?
