Another random question!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good weekend!

Monday blues are hard to beat, so I thought I'd throw out another light-hearted question - responses to my last q. were trés interesting (everyone wanted to be Garcia for a day!).

So, here it is: The profilers have a rare weekend of freedom, and have made no plans. You have the opportunity to have one of the team for the entire weekend, to spend the time as you choose (profilersitting; an advanced form of babysitting) - 

Who do you choose, and how would you spend your time (unlimited cash and resources at hand; remember though - the poor BAU jet needs a break too!)?

I'd take Reid clothes shopping, and then we'd sit and watch Buffy (He is totally a fan. Seriously! Really!). Poor boy needs some awesome clothing.

Crap! There is Derek Morgan, for the dreadfully obvious reason. But honestly, I would go with Gideon. He can cook, he can slow dance, and the man can sing. I can make him forget all about that horrible stuff at the BAU for just one weekend. Yeah, Gideon FTW!!!!

i would take penelope and we'd go to the mall for shopping, shopping, a movie, and more shopping. That'd be way too fun. :)

i'd be tempted to choose garcia or emily.

but i would have to choose doctor spencer reid. omg, thought of a weekend with reid is beyond awesome.

i would take him to chicago for the weekend.

we'd go out to eat (no chopsticks involved) wherever he wanted to go. i'd recommend the daniel burnham hotel downtown though. we'd go to navy pier and ride the ferris wheel and i'd buy him funnel cake. i'd ask him to teach me physics magic. i'd bring my bsg dvds and we'd watch it at the hotel and he'd tell me if ftl travel is possible. we'd play chess. i'd comb his hair. i'd ask him to wear his glasses. i'd take him out for coffee to a coffee shop that plays jazz and we'd sit and read the newspaper. i'd try to teach him how to hug without looking like he's getting his foot stepped on. we'd go to the museum of natural history and he could tell me the real history behind everything.

I CAN HAZ THIS, YES?

ETA: okaaaay. so my response is slightly more deranged detailed than some other people's. i am not ashamed. tttthhbt.

Well, this is an easy one. All of them of course!

I'd take the girls & Reid shopping (cause he really needs to get some better clothes!). Ooh, and a hair cut!

Then i'd take all of them for a nice lunch and a lazy afternoon so that they could could get some sun & fresh air.

And then i'd go clubbing with them!

I'd take Reid to one of the big scifi/media fan cons in the general DC area. ShoreLeave and Faripoint (both north of Baltimore - about 1 1/2 drive form DC area) are both pretty good cons. Reid would have blast being able to geek about scifi stuff without anyone thinking it is strange. And the fans there would love to quiz him on the details of the shows.

Hotch. Babylon 5 marathon. Because, seriously, HE IS JOHN. And he'd get a kick out of Susan. Granted, there'd probably be some kind of hike/bike break thing in the middle because he looks like he likes activity, but other than that -- introducing Hotch to the Minbari.

I want to get Prentiss, JJ and Garcia together for drinks and girl talk. We can talk about the guys all night. :-) And if I could get Garcia to upgrade my computer...well, that would be too much like work for her.

I want to take Spencer to a bar for Trivia Night. He'd kick ass at trivia. And at some point I want to try to get him to take the Autism Quotient test to see if I can prove he really is an Aspie.

I have to say I would take Reid, just because otherwise I imagine he wouldn't do much by himself. Poor thing needs someone to look after him.

Clearly, after his lecture to Morgan about the science of the Death Star, we would need to have a Star Wars marathon. We could snicker at the poor dialogue, he could lecture about how the science would REALLY work (and teach me how to build a lightsabre?), we would note how Obi-Wan and Anakin are totally doing it, and add "motherfucker" to the end of all Mace Windu's lines.

Then we would have to go to a swanky hotel. I would ply him with a martini or two to get him liquored up (somehow, I don't think it would take more than that for Reid) and then call Hotch to come and pick up his poor, drunken self.

When Hotch arrived, Reid would be the only one there. Wearing naught but a bow. Hotchner could then enjoy his weekend, too. :)

I would hang out with Rossi. I was upset when Gideon left because I really liked him a lot and I didn't think that I would like his replacement. But Rossi really grew on me. He seems to be a very nice person. And since he has has so much experience, I would like to hang out with him and pick his brains. I bet he would have some very interesting stories.

have you ever tried nasal irrigation? My mother (a nurse) made me do it years ago when I was in so much pain I could barely stand it. Simple, a bit uncomfortable, but it really, really works! Pain gone within half an hour everytime.

I do the nasal irrigation thing too, I have major sinus problems. I have sinusitis from allergies.
