I need an idea!

I'm working on two CM longterm fanfics. (One invloved Elle as a ghost and Reid and Hotch fidning out her death. The other is Garcia leaving the BAU becuase of an event that is being revealed over time)

So I need a new idea. Please don't give me gay pairs. I have nothing against those pairs but I just don't want to write about something I don't like. (Hotch/Reid, Morgan/Reid etc...)

I would love someone to throw out a pair (I prefer it random and less conventional) and or a plot...I know no one here is reading my things since I never get input, but I thought asking here would be the best since we're all fans.

If someone does give me and idea I can run with, I will credit them of course.

So anyone have anything? ^^; I would prefer this take place before Rossi came in but I won't be too picky, I just need help thinking of something else I can work on. XD

Okay let me just say this, just because you aren't getting feedback doesn't mean no one is reading them. Because could just be too shy to comment or whatever. Also you should post on fanfiction.net because it's fabulous and has a large array of CM fic.
I really want Reid gen, like with him struggling with the addiction. Maybe also him/girlfriend whose name I don't rember?
I also have a soft spot for hotch/jj.

Actually I do post on FF.net and most fanfics are the same, that's where my stories are but they don't have much input there either. I could also make him relapse...and he never really had a gf. There were a few he interacted with or there was Lila who I did wish was brought back...but even so most people want to read about either Hotch/Reid, Morgan/Reid, or Emily/Reid and I just don't like those pairs.

I could try a little JJ and Hotch thing if I go with Reid relasping...though I really can't see Hotch being romantic with anyone lol

As for people on here not reading my things, it's my opinion and I've never been proved otherwise, which is fine if people don't read them on here...I don't lose sleep over it, I just hoped there'd be more crack-pair fans on LJ I guess. Or people who didn't always like mainstreem things. Or people who would be open about things but oh well. You did give me one idea. So thank you at least. ^^

Elle/Reid. Having a secret relationship throughout their pain and suffering (because god, they had a lot), even after she left they kept seeing each other. I would really like to see Elle noticing Reid's drug problem and how she could help him with it and visa versa with her drinking thing.

no one ever writes gideon/elle. i personally like morgan/garcia, but it's been done. reid/elle is nice too.

as for plots, how 'bout the kidnapping of Ambassador Prentiss? That is, if you want to be far enough along the timeline to have Emily at all.

Oh I like that one! I think it could have a nice mix of angst, drama, love, etc.

I'm sure the BAU wouldn't know what to think if and when they find out. Or perhaps they already even know since keeping a personal life secret is hard to do in their field.

I really like the idea, maybe we could collaberate together more. I also do have a fanfic starting that is Hotch and Elle and Elle and Reid -esk. XD

I did write a Gideon/Elle....oh wait I wrote a Gideon/Emily once.

I've done Morgan/Garcia. I've also tried Garcia/Reid, very cute.

I could dive into a Gideon/Elle since maybe he's the man she's always wanted and needed. lol

What about Gideon/Garcia? set during series one about the time of Blood Hungry when Gideon is working from Garcia's office.

There seems to be very little fic for Garcia that's not Morgan/Garcia, and there's not much for Gideon that's not a slash pairing (which I do also read, but it would be nice to see something else on occasion.)

Or maybe Morgan/JJ, as I don't think I've seen that pairing anywhere at all.

With getting reviews/feedback I've found that most people don't leave comments. I found this after putting a visit counter on a few of my fics (not CM fandom) and found that for every one comment I did get there were about 70/80 other readers who didn't comment.

I have tried a Garcia/Hotch one. But I wouldn't mind diving into a cute sort of fantasy of Gideon/Garcia. It's barely hinted in the first two seasons since Gideon hardly pays mind to her in the beginning. So maybe something behind the scenes could develop.

I adore Gideon a lot, I do wish he was written about more often.

I've heard of JJ/Morgan type...but yes, seeing it is fairly rare. I could try a one shot of it, though most one shots could be continued if well recived.

I see. Well I do tell my readers that I'd rather have a review than someone put a notice on my fics. I get that they wanna stay up to date but getting a written piece of encouragement helps me a lot more to continue something. It's like..I'd rather have someone like me openly rather than stalk me. Ya know? XD

I'd like to see more Rossi/Garcia. As for a plot for those two, I'm dry...of course if I could think of a plot for them, I'd probably write it. ;-)

Someone mentioned Elle/Reid, but I'll take it a step further: Elle/Reid, but with Elle as a ghost. My brain just kind of glommed onto those two elements and ran with them. If paranormal romance just ain't your thing, well, that's okay. You have to admit that it's a little different.

I second JJ/Will or Hotch/Haley. There aren't a lot of canon pairings kicking around in fanfic.

As for the reading thing, I think a lot of people in this fandom read but don't comment. I'm not sure why, but it's a trend I've noticed in the fandom. Maybe folks are just shy.

As for JJ/Will and Hotch/Haley. I just don't like Hotch or Will that much so I guess I would only write about them if I came up with an interesting plot.

And I have had this idea where maybe it could be Haley/Hotch but maybe one is scretly cheating on the other with someone from the team...not sure about how much people would like it though.

I am very pleased with this nice brain pool of ideas and I'm sure I can make more than one fanfic out of what is said, so I don't mind chatting more with ya'll.

Emily/Reid has been done a lot and implied in the show, to me. I don't go for it. I did address that pair earlier I think. XD

JJ and Reid would be cute. And for the reccord, I am taking most ideas/pairs and will writing something for them since people were nice enough to help me out.

In "P911", Garcia is described as having four brothers--who are never mentioned during her backstory in "Penelope"; what happened to them? Are she and they estranged? Did they die in the accident, too? (The obvious Doylean answer, of course, is a continuity blooper, but accounting for them might be a useful piece of fanspackle.)

That would be interesting, though her parents died in a crash and I think (maybe) only she lived with her grandparents. It would be something I could look into with a fic I'm doing.
