This is good for me since I find the show a lot less compelling when Reid isn't in the limelight. Mostly because the writers seem more comfortable writing Reid for some reason-- he's had the most ridiculous storylines but they've always been captivating imo
Sort of unrelated, but I get why they're leery of writing romantic relationships within the team, but then your only option for romance is awkwardly writing in characters for the sole purpose of romance. Sometimes it works out well-- Kevin, and sometimes it just seems sloppy-- Will, Morgan's new lady (the fact that I can't remember her name is pretty telling.) And like it or not, shows need romance to get viewers.
