Notes: Jim Clemente is the ex FBI profiler who wrote season 2's "Lessons Learned" which is one of my favourite eps of Criminal Minds. This should be interesting. And how come they don't know who wrote "Uncanny Valley"?

According to the CBS press release from earlier this month, the writer for 'The Uncanny Valley' is Breen Frazier and Anna J. Foerster directed. I'm not sure why the SpoilerTV post is incomplete, but then again the CBS release said that the Unsub had yet to be casted, so maybe there was a bit of confusion in general.

Awww angsty!Hotch. I am so torn b/c on one hand he is just so freaking hot when he's angsty and on the other I get all like... idk far too emotionally invested, I guess. This is really sad, how I get over a fictional character... :/

Thanks for these, i've updated the original post.

Considering this is their fist ep back in January i'd expect that they've already filmed it, so i don't know what all the confusion is about.

That also may be a SAG rule; perhaps there was a plain "Michael Bolten" when he joined the union, so he had to go by something else.

(Of course, there is also the inevitable "Office Space" joke to be made here.

Sadly, you are not alone in this. I did a little dance of joy.

Although, my hope is that his struggles are with the tackling/shooting/violence part of the job. Can he control himself, can he wrangle Scary!Hotch back into the little psychic hole he live in before?
